Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Comfortivo collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can get away with, and we do not sell it.
Who we are
Comfortivo, 1422 Glenwood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316, USA. For any privacy question, write to support@comfortivo.com.
What we collect
- Order information: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and payment confirmation. We need this to take payment and get your parcel to you.
- Account information: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
- Device and usage information: your IP address, browser, device type and the pages you view, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Messages you send us: the contents of emails and contact-form submissions.
We never receive your full payment card number — that goes directly to our payment processor.
Why we use it
To process and deliver your order, to handle returns and support requests, to prevent fraud, to comply with our legal obligations, and — only where you have opted in — to send you marketing email.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments.
- Our fulfilment partners and shipping carriers, who receive your name and delivery address so they can pack and deliver your order. Some are located outside your country, which means your delivery details are transferred internationally to complete your purchase.
- Service providers for email, analytics and customer support.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to respond to a lawful request.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Cookies
Cookies keep your cart working, remember your preferences and help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the store will stop working properly if you block the essential ones.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to provide support and meet our tax and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, email support@comfortivo.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link at the bottom of any message.
Children
Our store is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date below.
