Does it make steam?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than repeat the phrase that gets used on listings like this. It sprays a cold, very fine mist of whatever you put in the tank. Nothing heats up, which is also why it is safe to use on a child’s hair and why the battery lasts as long as it does.
Can I put hair oil in it, or only water?
Light oils and thin leave-in sprays mist well. Anything thick — a heavy serum, a cream, a gel — will clog a fine nozzle. If in doubt, dilute it, and rinse the tank through with warm water afterwards.
Will it work on thick or curly hair?
